These terms govern all commissions, alterations and purchases placed with Appgear Atelier Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 202101018437 (1417382-P)), whether arranged at the atelier, by telephone, by WhatsApp or through this website. Placing an order means you accept them.
1. Quotations and orders
Every commission is preceded by a written quotation itemising cloth, construction and detailing. The quotation is fixed once you approve it; if you request changes mid-commission we will quote the difference before proceeding. Quotations remain valid for thirty days.
2. Deposits and payment
Bespoke commissions require a 50% deposit before cloth is cut; the balance is due on collection. Alteration work under RM 300 is payable on collection in full. We accept cash, bank transfer, and DuitNow. Prices are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia and include any applicable taxes.
3. Fittings and your part in the schedule
Quoted timelines assume you attend fittings within seven days of being invited. Delays on your side extend the delivery date by at least the same period. If a basted fitting is skipped at your request, we cannot guarantee the final fit to our usual standard and will note this on the order.
4. Timelines
Typical lead times are stated on each service page and confirmed on your quotation. They are honest estimates, not guarantees, except where we have agreed a dated deadline in writing — in which case we either meet it or tell you at the earliest possible moment that we cannot, with a full refund of your deposit if we are at fault.
5. Collection and storage
We hold finished garments free of charge for sixty days after notifying you they are ready. Beyond that we may charge RM 10 per garment per week of storage. Garments uncollected after twelve months, with the balance unpaid despite reminders, may be disposed of; any deposit is forfeit against costs incurred.
6. Fit guarantee
Final adjustments to achieve the agreed fit are included with every commission. Later alterations — for example after a change in weight — are chargeable at preferential client rates. Details of remedies for defective work are in our Return & Refund Policy.
7. Client-supplied cloth and garments
We accept commissions in cloth you supply and alterations to garments made elsewhere, but only after inspection. We take professional care of such items; however, where hidden defects in the material emerge during work, our liability is limited to the labour charged, not the value of the item.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our total liability in connection with a commission is capped at the price paid for that commission. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including courier failures and mill shortages, though we will always propose the fastest alternative.

Text and photographs on appgear.pro are the property of Appgear Atelier Sdn Bhd and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. Lookbook photographs are published with the clients' consent.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. We would much rather resolve matters over the cutting table — contact [email protected] first.
