Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This site uses very few, and none before you have made a choice in the consent banner (other than the strictly necessary ones listed below).
Strictly necessary cookies
These keep the site functioning and cannot be switched off:
- PHPSESSID — a session identifier that protects the enquiry form against forged submissions. Expires when you close the browser.
- cc_cookie — records the consent choices you make in the cookie banner so we don't ask you on every page. Kept for six months.
Analytics cookies (only with consent)
If you accept the analytics category, we may set first-party cookies that count page visits and show us which notes and service pages are read most. The data is aggregate; we cannot identify you from it. Rejecting this category changes nothing about how the site works for you.
Marketing cookies (only with consent)
This category is off by default and currently unused. If we ever run advertising campaigns, cookies in this category would help measure them. We keep the category in the banner so your choice is already recorded should that day come.
Changing your mind
You can reopen the preferences panel at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, or the cookies button in the lower corner of your screen. You can also clear cookies entirely through your browser settings — the banner will simply ask again on your next visit.
Third parties
Web fonts are served by Google Fonts and the consent banner script by the jsDelivr content delivery network. These requests transmit your IP address to those services as a technical necessity but set no cookies of their own on this site.
